After resurfacing with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Krafton has now opened pre-registration for PUBG New State in India for Android and iOS users.
PUBG: New State is a new title being developed by the South Korean video game publisher. It is planned to premiere this year as a free-to-play experience on both iOS and Android devices.
Minkyu Park, the Executive Producer of PUBG: New State, stated that Indian fans are really excited about the next game’s arrival.
“With Krafton’s PUBG IP gaining widespread popularity in India and our Indian fans expressing strong enthusiasm in the launch of PUBG: New State in India, we at PUBG Studios are doing our best to provide a battle royale experience,” he stated.
PUBG: New State will be Krafton’s second mobile title to debut in India following the Indian government’s announcement on September 2, 2020, that PUBG Mobile will be banned in the country due to national security and customer privacy issues.
Krafton has been attempting a return since the ban.
With the recent launch of Battlegrounds Mobile India, the South Korean company established a foothold in India. According to the firm, the game has surpassed 50 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
With the release of PUBG: New State, the firm appears to be attempting to expand its presence in the country.
